​In June 2024, at Valmont, we launched a new version of NG Central and POS NG POS solution based on latest version 2.7, which replaced the previously operated TPOMM and POS Flow system at all 140 Valmont stores.​

After the initial pilot operation at 8 stores, we implemented the new POS NG solution in one day at all remaining 140 stores. At the same time, stock levels were also transferred from TPOMM to NG Central, including batch records. The excellent cooperation of the customer, with whom we jointly resolved the migration of the original goods records to the new batch system, also contributed to the successful implementation.​

​​​​​​The implementation of the new POS NG and NG Central solution also changed and simplified some processes with Valmont’s suppliers. Not only documents of receipt, remittances and returns of goods are automatically loaded from all suppliers, but also supplier invoices, which are item-by-item checked and matched with deliveries. The process of claiming deliveries to suppliers has also changed, for which the entire agenda has become more automated and accelerated.​

​​The goal of the project was not only the replacement of the TPOMM application with a newer, more technologically modern solution of NG Central and POS NG, but an important point of delivery was the introduction of automatic batch tracking for tobacco products and issue numbers for printed materials. ​

​All the above-mentioned functionalities and many others are part of our industry-specific POS NG solution for the tobacco sector.​
